Korean Dramas
Hello there readers, it's been such a long time since I posted something here on my blog. Now that I have the time to post something (since it's summer and I'm done with my summer internship), I would like to share to you my Korean Drama list.
It was last year (semester break) when I started watching Korean Dramas. My friend persuaded me to watch Korean Dramas because of how nice it is (truly yes).
1. Emergency Couple
Plot
Jin-Hee (Song Ji-Hyo) led a satisfying life as a dietitian.
She then met medical school student Chang-Min (Choi Jin-Hyuk). Despite his
wealthy family's strong opposition, Jin-Hee and Chang-Min decided to get
married. Chang-Min's family is full of doctors. Chang-Min though gave up his
medical internship and began working as a pharmaceutical salesman. Their
marriage life was not happy. Chang-Min's family looked down on Jin-Hee and even
Chang-Min seemed to change. Chang-Min began to think terribly of Jin-Hee and
they finally divorced.
After their divorce, Jin-Hee became a medical student and
now works as an intern. Chang-Min also graduated from medical school and begins
to work as an intern. One day, they meet in the emergency room for a hospital
where they will both work together.

I really fell in love with this drama. The characters were portrayed very well. This drama is the reason why I continued to watch K-dramas up to now (this is the first korean drama I watched by the way). You will not just be fond of the story but at the same time you will also learn medical terms and procedures and you will totally love this even more if you are into medical field (like me haha)
2. The Heirs
Plot
The series follows a group of rich, privileged, and elite
high school students as they are groomed to take over their families' business
empires. These wealthy students seem to have everything under control, except
their love lives. Kim Tan (Lee Min-ho) is a handsome and wealthy heir to a
large Korean conglomerate who is sent to study abroad in the U.S. But in
reality, it's a form of exile, as his elder half-brother back home, Kim Won
(Choi Jin-hyuk) schemes to take over the family business. While in the
States, Kim Tan bumps into Cha Eun-sang (Park Shin-hye), who has arrived from
Korea in search of her older sister who claims that she is in need of money for
her wedding. When Kim Tan's fiancée, Rachel Yoo (Kim Ji-won), arrives to
bring him back to Korea, his heart is torn between love and duty. Both Eun-sang
and Kim Tan return to Korea, only to meet again. Slowly, he finds himself
falling for her, later realizing that she's the daughter of his family's mute
housekeeper. Meanwhile, Rachel's future stepbrother and Kim Tan's former best
friend, Choi Young-do (Kim Woo-bin) (who also go to the same school as Kim Tan
and Eun-sang) starts falling for Eun-sang as well. Troubles arise as the heirs
realize the differences between money and the real world and they soon learn
what love is

I decided to watch this drama after I watched one of its episodes on TV. Their love story is truly incredible. Love knows no boundaries, they say. No matter if you are poor or rich once you are compatible, you are really meant for each other.

This drama deserves to have Season 2. The ending was a bit hanging (calling the director and producers of this drama, please shoot for season 2 now! hahaha). This drama is really funnyyyy (this made me really laugh all the time).

This is also a good drama. Ji Hae-Soo and Jang Jae-Yeol acted so well and by the way this drama teaches patience and understanding when it comes to love.

This drama truly touched my heart. The first episodes will really make you cry (most especially if you are a soft hearted person). I even made a poem out of this drama entitled Haunted Childhood ( check my post).

The characters were portrayed so well. This gave me an idea of how really it is in North Korea (In this drama, people there were so cruel). This teaches a never-ending love, that no matter how many years you are apart if you are meant for each other, love will find its way.
